Description
The name itself suggests the the Masala, or the mixture spices is meant to be served with Pani Puri. Well, ‘Pani’ in Nepali means water and ‘Puri’ is a fried hollow ball made from wheat flour. The ‘Puri’ is punctured open on one side and stuffed with delicious fillings and topped with water on which the Pani Puri Masala is included. The ‘Puri’ is then eaten in a mouth full. This is one of most popular outdoor snacks in Nepal and neighboring countries.
The major ingredients of Pani Puri Masala are: Cumin, Corianders, Red chili powder, Dry mango powder, Black pepper powder, Salt, Black salt, Hing/Asafetida, Citric acid, Black Pepper, Tamarind and Dry Ginger etc which gives a sharp twinkle to this Pani Puri Masala.
